10 Steps to Make Bread with a Bread Machine
If you don't have a bread machine, you may think it's a lot
of work. We've summarized the typical bread-making experience in a bread
machine into 10 simple steps. Hopefully, this will give you an idea of what to
expect when you buy a bread machine.
1. Wash your hands
The first thing you should do is wash your hands and make
sure you have enough space. You don't want to get sick and you don't want
anything unwanted (hair, other food, etc.) to get into your bread.
2. Remove measuring spoons, cups, etc.
It is best to prepare these ahead of time. Remove cups and measuring
spoons. Keep them clean and accessible for ingredient preparation.
3. Prepare the ingredients
It's a good idea to measure everything before putting the
ingredients in the bread machine. As with every recipe, there are people who do
this every time.
4. Wipe out the inside of the bread pan.
It is recommended that you wipe out the inside of the bread
pan. There may be some dust or old ingredients leftover from the last baking.
Simply take a damp cloth or paper towel and wipe it off.
5. Add the liquid first.
Any water can be used, but for the bread to taste the best,
we recommend using purified, bottled, or filtered water. Tap water often
contains chlorine and other substances that can affect the taste of bread. This
of course depends on how you feel about water purification, but it does make a
difference.
It's also a good idea to add any liquid you want to use,
such as eggs or melted butter. Butter should be cold before adding to the pan
so it doesn't attack the yeast. Visit also: Best Breads For Breakfast
6. Add the dry ingredients to the pan.
Now it's time to put the dry ingredients in the pan. This is
not difficult if you have already measured the ingredients in a bowl. Just do
it in order. Many bread machines have a timer that indicates when to add the
fruit, nuts, and seeds. If not, wait until the dough is ready before adding
these ingredients.
7. Add the yeast
The next step is to add the yeast. Before adding the yeast,
make sure it is not wet. If it is, the whole batch will be wasted. The
Panasonic SD-YD250 bread machine works in a different way with yeast. This
bread machine has a yeast dispenser that doses the yeast at the right time.
Unfortunately, most models do not have this feature, so the yeast must be added
directly after the dry ingredients.
8. Placing the pan in the machine
The next step is to insert the pan into the machine. Make
sure it is securely in place and close the lid. 9.
9. Set the timer and bake the bread.
After closing the lid, plug the bread machine into the
mains, if not already plugged in, and start the timer or select a
program/cycle. The number of options depends on the type of bakery you have,
the type of bread you want to bake, and whether or not you are using a custom
program. You are now ready to bake!
10. Take the bread out of the oven and enjoy!
After baking, allow the bread machine to cool for one hour
before opening the lid. Remove the plate and place the bread on a plate. Slice
the bread and wrap it in cling film to keep it fresh. Since bread from the
bread machine does not contain preservatives, it spoils quickly, so it is best
to eat or freeze it within 3 to 4 days.
Baking bread in a bread machine
Once you've followed all the steps, you can see how
beneficial it is to bake bread with a bread machine. Basically, it all comes
down to cleaning, removing the measuring cup, adding the ingredients to the
loaf, and loading, baking, and removing.
